TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. The promoter is Chery South Africa.

2. Entry is open to residents of South Africa aged 18 years or older.

3. By participating in this promotion, an entrant is indicating his/her/their agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

4. Route to entry:

a. To enter, participants must purchase a new Chery vehicle (not a demo or pre-owned vehicle) from an approved Chery South Africa dealership between 1 October 2025 and 31 December 2025.

b. All valid entries will be considered, and a winner will be randomly selected from the pool of finalists.

5. The promotion will run from 1st October 2025 to 31st December 2025, closing at 12 am.

6. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.

7. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition, or these terms and conditions, without prior notice in the event of circumstances beyond its reasonable control (including but not limited to acts of God, war, civil or military disturbances, or a breach of applicable law or regulation). Any material changes to the promotion will be communicated to entrants as soon as reasonably possible.

8. The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this promotion.

9. The prize is as follows:

a. A once-off amount of R1,000,000 (One Million Rand), which is not transferable or exchangeable.

10. The winner shall be selected through a random draw conducted by the Chery South Africa Marketing Department. The draw will be executed in a fair, transparent, and objective manner, and will be independently audited to ensure compliance with all applicable standards of integrity and impartiality.

11. Verification of Identity:

a. Please note that, for verification purposes, we are required to first confirm that you are the current registered owner of a Chery vehicle purchases between 1 October 2025 – 31 December 2025. To proceed, kindly provide a copy of your NaTIS (National Traffic Information System) document reflecting your ownership details.

b. In addition, upon being notified by the Promoter, all finalists and/or the winner will be required to provide their South African identity number or passport number to the Promoter. The confirmed winner will further be required to present valid proof of identity in the form of a South African identity document/card or passport, before the prize can be awarded.

c. Method of Prize Payment:

The prize will be paid via electronic funds transfer (EFT) into a South African bank account in the winner's name, within fourteen (14) working days after all required verification processes have been completed.

12. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant if fraud, misconduct, or non-eligibility is suspected, or if these terms and conditions have been breached.

13. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, or disappointment suffered by any entrant or winner, whether directly or indirectly related to the prize or participation in the competition.

14. The Promoter will not be responsible for technical issues, system failures, or any problems beyond its control that may result in entries being lost, delayed, or not properly registered.

15. All participants hereby consent to the Promoter processing their personal information in accordance with the applicable privacy laws in South Africa for the purposes of participating in this promotion.

16. Proof of identification must be provided upon delivery of the prize.

17. Winner Notification:

a. The winner will be notified by email within 30 (thirty) days of the final closing date. If the winner cannot be contacted or fails to claim the prize within 14 (fourteen) days of notification, the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the prize and select an alternative winner.

18. The promoter will notify the winner when and where the prize is to be collected/delivered.

19. Final Decision:

a. The Promoter's decision on all matters relating to the competition shall be final, and no correspondence or discussions will be entered into.

20. By participating in the promotion, an entrant is indicating his/her/their agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

21. The winner agrees to the use of his/her/their name, image and video content pertaining to the prize handover in any publicity material. Any personal data relating to the winner, or any other entrants, will be used solely in accordance with current South African data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant's prior consent.

22. Entry into the promotion & draw, will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.

23. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook or any other Social Network.

24. The promoter shall have the right, at its sole discretion and at any time, to change or modify these terms and conditions, such change shall be effective immediately upon posting to the website.

25. The competition is not open to employees of Chery South Africa, its dealerships, agents, suppliers, or their immediate family members, or anyone else professionally connected with the promotion.

26. Tax Liability:

a. The winner is responsible for any tax implications or liabilities arising from the prize. The Promoter will not be held liable for any costs or expenses not expressly included in these terms.

27. The promoter also reserves the right to cancel the competition if circumstances arise outside of its control.
