Chery Dance Challenge - Terms & Conditions

1. Promoter

1.1. The Competition is organised by The Local Agency (Pty) Ltd (Registration No. 2023/175123/07) on behalf of Chery South Africa.

2. Eligibility

2.1. The Competition is open to all legal residents of South Africa.

2.2. Entrants of any age may participate, but only entrants aged 18 years or older with a valid driver's licence may claim the main prize (use of a Chery vehicle).

2.3. Employees, directors, contractors, and immediate family members of the Promoter, Chery South Africa, DBN Gogo, or any affiliated agencies are not eligible to enter.

2.4. Entrants with a criminal record will be automatically disqualified.

3. How to Enter

3.1. To enter, participants must:

• Create a dance video using the official DBN Gogo campaign track.

• Post the video on Instagram or TikTok.

• Use the hashtag #CheryDanceChallenge.

• Tag @DBNGogo and @cherysouthernafrica if posting on Instagram, or @chery_southafrica if posting on TikTok.

3.2. Entries close at 12 midnight on Wednesday, 10 December. Submissions received after this time will not be accepted.

3.3. Multiple entries are allowed, but only one prize may be awarded per entrant.

4. Winner Selection

4.1. Winners will be determined based on the total number of "likes" received on their eligible video(s).

4.2. In the event of a tie, the Promoter reserves the right to apply additional judging criteria.

4.3. The Promoter's decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

5. Prizes

5.1. First Prize: Use of a Chery vehicle for six (6) months.

• Winner must be 18+ with a valid South African driver's licence.

• The winner will be responsible for fuel, tolls, traffic fines, and any negligent damage.

• Insurance and general maintenance will be covered by Chery, subject to terms.

5.2. Second Prize: Cash prize of R8,000.

5.3. Third Prize: Cash prize of R5,000.

5.4. Prizes are non-transferable and may not be exchanged for alternatives.

6. Content Rights

6.1. By entering and tagging @DBNGogo and @cherysouthernafrica if posting on Instagram, or @chery_southafrica if posting on TikTok, participants grant the Promoter and Chery a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to repost, share, publish, and use the submitted content for marketing and promotional purposes across all media.

6.2. Entrants confirm that their content is original and does not infringe the rights of any third party.

7. Disqualification

The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who:

• Provides false or misleading information.

• Fails to comply with these T&Cs.

• Has a criminal record.

• Creates offensive, unlawful, or inappropriate content.

8. General Terms

8.1. The Competition is subject to South African law.

8.2. The Promoter reserves the right to amend or cancel the Competition at any time without prior notice.

8.3. The Promoter and Chery are not liable for any:

• Technical failures, errors, or delays in entry.

• Loss, theft, or damage to any prize once handed over.

• Injury, damage, or loss suffered by entrants arising from participation or use of a prize.

9. Privacy

9.1. Personal data collected during the Competition will be used solely for the administration of the Competition and prize fulfilment.

9.2. No personal data will be shared with third parties unrelated to the Competition.

10. Acceptance

Participation in the Competition constitutes full and unconditional acceptance of these T&Cs.
