TikTok Challenge – Terms & Conditions & Official Rules

1. Eligibility

1.1. The Challenge is open to legal residents of South Africa aged 18 or older.

1.2. Participants must have a valid TikTok account.

1.3. Employees of the organiser or its partners, their immediate family members, and anyone professionally connected to the Challenge are not eligible to participate.

1.4. By entering, participants confirm that they meet all eligibility requirements.

2. Safety & Behaviour

2.1. Participants must ensure that all activities shown in their videos are safe, lawful, and performed while the vehicle is stationary.

2.2. The organiser accepts no responsibility for any injury, damage, or loss resulting from participation.

2.3. Any content showing unsafe or illegal behaviour will be immediately disqualified.

3. Participant Warranties & Indemnity

3.1. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the organiser will not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, or claim arising from participation, prize use, or content creation.

3.2. By entering, participants warrant that their content:

3.2.1. is original and created by them,

3.2.2. does not infringe any third-party rights, and

3.2.3. includes consent from all individuals appearing in the video.

3.3. Participants agree to indemnify and hold the organiser harmless against any claims, including those related to copyright, intellectual property, privacy, or safety.

4. How to Enter

4.1. Theme: Interior Space Experience (TIGGO Interior)

Participants must create and upload a TikTok video that prominently features the TIGGO's interior and demonstrates how they use or benefit from the available interior space.

4.2. Suggested content ideas:

4.2.1. In-car workouts

4.2.2. Parent–child interactions

4.2.3. Pet-friendly moments

4.2.4. Creative, fun, or unexpected uses of space

4.3. Creativity is encouraged.

5. Entry Requirements

To qualify, each video must:

5.1. Mention that Chery has launched the #cheryspace challenge.

5.2. Include the hashtag #cheryspace.

5.3. Tag @chery_southafrica.

5.4. Remain public on TikTok for the full duration of the campaign.

5.5. Entries that do not meet these requirements may be disqualified.

6. Challenge Period

The Challenge runs from 30 November 2025 to 20 December 2025 at 23:59 SAST.

Late entries will not be accepted.

7. Prizes

7.1. Prize details will be announced via official campaign channels.

7.2. Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and not redeemable for cash.

7.3. If a prize becomes unavailable, the organiser may substitute it with one of equal or higher value.

7.4. The organiser is not responsible for prize delivery delays caused by suppliers, couriers, or external factors.

8. Winner Selection

Winners will be selected based on:

8.1. Creativity and originality

8.2. Clear execution of required video elements

8.3. Effective use of the CherySpace sticker

8.4. Overall engagement (where applicable)

8.5. Compliance with all posting requirements

9. Notification of Winners

9.1. The organiser's decision is final.

9.2. Winners will be contacted via TikTok direct message or provided contact details.

9.3. If a winner does not respond within 48 hours, the organiser may award the prize to another qualifying entrant.

10. Content Guidelines

10.1. All content must be original and created by the participant.

10.2. Videos may not include:

10.2.1. Nudity, profanity, violence, or hate speech

10.2.2. Unsafe, reckless, or illegal activities

10.2.3. Copyrighted music or visuals without proper rights

10.3. The organiser may remove, request removal of, or disqualify any content at any time, for any reason, without notice.

11. Intellectual Property

11.1. By entering, participants grant the organiser a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, edit, reproduce, or publish their videos for marketing and promotional purposes (e.g., social media, campaigns, events).

11.2. Participants retain ownership of their content.

12. POPIA Data Protection

12.1. All personal information will be processed in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

12.2. Personal data will not be sold, transferred, or used for any purpose unrelated to the Challenge.

12.3. Personal information will only be used for prize communication and campaign administration.

12.4. By entering, participants consent to the public announcement of their TikTok handle and video.

13. General Conditions

13.1. The organiser may amend, suspend, or cancel the Challenge at any time due to unforeseen circumstances.

13.2. The organiser is not responsible for:

13.2.1. Network or connectivity failures

13.2.2. TikTok outages or restriction

13.2.3. Device malfunction

13.2.4. Incorrect or incomplete entries

13.2.5. Participation in the Challenge constitutes acceptance of all Terms & Conditions.
