As Chery continues to expand its presence in South Africa, the demands on the Brand Department have grown significantly. To ensure the successful execution of campaigns, events, and partnerships while maintaining operational excellence, we are seeking to appoint a Brand Coordinator. This role will play a critical part in supporting the Brand Department by managing day-to-day logistics, coordinating brand activations, and assisting with both internal and external brand-related initiatives. The Brand Coordinator will be central to driving brand consistency, operational efficiency, and strong market presence.
Duties and Responsibilites
- Assist in the planning and execution of all brand campaigns, events, and partnerships.
- Manage logistics for activations, influencer collaborations, and promotional materials.
- Handle administrative tasks, including purchase orders, budget requests, and supplier coordination.
- Maintain and update content calendars to ensure timely rollout of marketing materials.
- Support internal teams with brand-related tasks and requests.
- Provide support for our Loyalty Program and related initiatives.
- Ensure smooth execution of brand projects, with attention to detail and adherence to deadlines.
Experience and Qualifications
Requirements:
- Relevant qualification in Marketing, Brand Management, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
- 1–3 years' experience in brand coordination, marketing, or events management.
- Experience working with suppliers, agencies, or influencers is advantageous.
Skills:
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with content calendar or project management tools.
- A proactive, detail-oriented, and solution-driven mindset.
- Team player with the ability to collaborate across departments.
